Make

Connect Entagl to the other apps you use with Make, no code needed.

Overview

Make is an automation tool that links apps together. With the Entagl app in Make, a new contact, booking, order or message in Entagl can start a scenario that updates your spreadsheet, CRM or email list. Scenarios can also work in Entagl, for example create a contact, add a tag or send a message. You'll find it under Channels → Make.

Features

Start scenarios from Entagl events

Entagl triggers, like Watch New Contact, Watch New Booking or Watch New Order, start your scenario within seconds of the event. Make registers them with Entagl for you when you turn the scenario on, so there is nothing to copy or paste.

Work in Entagl from Make

Actions and searches let a scenario do things in Entagl: find or create a contact, add a tag, send a message, look up a booking and more. They act in the workspace you connected.

See and control your scenarios

Every scenario that is on shows up on the Make page with how many events it listens to and when it last got one. Open Recent deliveries to see what was sent, Pause and Resume it, or Remove it. Removing it means that scenario stops being triggered. Turn the scenario off and on again in Make to bring it back.

Customer data stays protected

Message text and customer contact details are only sent when a scenario asks for them and the person who connected Make is the workspace owner or an admin. Without them, a scenario still gets every event, with a contact ID where the details would be. On a HIPAA workspace they are never sent.

Common tasks

Connect Make

About 5 min
  1. Open Channels → Make and click Connect in Make. Make opens and adds the Entagl app to your Make account.
  2. In Make, create a scenario that starts with an Entagl trigger, for example Watch New Contact.
  3. When Make asks, sign in with your Entagl account. If your login has more than one workspace, also enter the ID of the workspace you want to use.
  4. Turn the scenario on. Back in Entagl, it now shows on the Make page under Your Make scenarios.
  5. Make something happen in Entagl, like adding a contact, and watch the scenario run. If it doesn't, open Recent deliveries on that scenario to see what went wrong.

Tips

Make triggers ignore changes made by the same Make connection by default, so a scenario that updates a contact won't keep triggering itself.
Pause is the gentle option: the scenario stays connected, nothing is sent, and Resume picks up again with new events.
