Campaigns

Send a marketing message to a group of customers, all at once.

Send a targeted message to a group, schedule it, and track results.

Overview

Campaigns let you blast a WhatsApp, SMS, or email message to a filtered segment of your contacts — for example, 'Everyone tagged VIP who hasn't ordered in 30 days'. Schedule for later, personalize with merge tags, and track opens, replies, and conversions. Campaigns now lives inside the Marketing hub, next to Automations (automatic appointment reminders) and Templates.

Features

Campaigns list

Every campaign you've created, with status (draft, scheduled, running, completed) and results.

Create a new campaign

A side panel that walks you through it: name, message template, who gets it, when to send, and a final review with a preview of the exact message.

Choose who gets it

Pick your audience by anything you keep on a contact: stage, where they came from, tags, country, services they booked, whether they came from an ad, whether they have ever booked, when you last heard from them — and any property you added yourself. The panel shows how many people will receive it as you go, and never counts anyone who asked not to be messaged.

Upload a list for a campaign

On the People step you can upload a CSV or Excel file instead of, or as well as, choosing filters. Everyone in the file is saved to your contacts and added to this campaign. If someone is already in your contacts we match them by phone or email and update that record instead of creating a second one.

Personalization

While you write a template, tap a variable to drop in the customer's name, their appointment details, your business details — or any extra field you keep on your contacts, such as their package or their consultant. We fill in the real value for each person when the message goes out.

Schedule for later

Pick any date and time — respects the contact's timezone if known.

Live results — and why anything failed

During and after a campaign: sent, delivered, opened, replied. If anything failed, the campaign page opens with a plain-language explanation of why and what to do about it — and a button to send again to just those people once you have fixed it.

Common tasks

Create a marketing campaign

About 1 min
  1. Open the sidebar → Work → Campaigns.
  2. Click New Campaign, pick the audience, write the message, and choose Send now or Schedule.

Choose exactly who receives a campaign

About 2 min
  1. On the Contacts step of a new campaign, start with the everyday filters: search, stage, where they came from, and how they felt in their last chat.
  2. Set Campaign participation to "never in a campaign" so you do not message the same people twice.
  3. Open More filters for the rest — services booked, came from an ad, never booked, date ranges, and your own contact properties.
  4. Watch the count at the top: that is exactly how many people will receive the message. Anyone who opted out is already excluded.

Send a campaign to a list you already have

About 3 min
  1. Start a new campaign, give it a name and pick your message template.
  2. On the People step, click Upload contacts and choose your CSV or Excel file.
  3. Match each column in your file to the right contact field. We suggest matches for you — check them and change any that look wrong.
  4. Review the summary, then click Import and add to campaign. You will see how many were new and how many matched people you already had.
  5. The recipient count updates to include them. Carry on to scheduling as normal.

Find out why a campaign failed, and send it again

About 2 min
  1. Open the campaign from Work → Campaigns. A red panel at the top explains what went wrong, in plain language.
  2. Most failures are a setting on your side — a WhatsApp billing detail missing at Meta, a paused template, or a contact with no phone number. When the fix lives in Meta, the panel gives you a direct link to the right page.
  3. Once it is fixed, press Fixed it — send to these people. Only the people who missed out are messaged; anyone who already received it is never sent to twice.
  4. Anyone who asked not to be messaged is always skipped, and is never included in a retry.

Create a WhatsApp message template

About 3 min
  1. Open Work → Campaigns → Templates, or click Create a template on the template step of a new campaign.
  2. Pick an example to start from, or start from scratch — describe your message in your own words and we draft it for you.
  3. On the message step, tap a variable to personalize it. The extra fields you keep on your contacts appear in their own group.
  4. Review and submit. WhatsApp usually approves within a few minutes, and the template then appears in the campaign picker.

Tips

Always test with your own number first — pick "Send to me" before the main blast.
WhatsApp requires approved templates for promotional content. Check your channels setup.
Replies come into the Inbox like regular conversations — your AI handles them automatically unless you take over.
