Auto-pause duration
How long the AI stops replying after you answer manually.
Overview
Each new team reply restarts the configured auto-pause. With 1 hour selected, a reply at 15:40 pauses AI until 16:40. Applies to team replies in Entagl Inbox and connected Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and TikTok apps. Explicit manual pauses and indefinite pauses are preserved. The default duration is 1 hour.
Features
Duration slider
Pick any value between 1 minute and infinite. The slider maxes out at "24 hrs / ∞" for an indefinite pause.
Team replies
Applies to team replies in Entagl Inbox and connected Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and TikTok apps. Explicit manual pauses and indefinite pauses are preserved.
Common tasks
Set the auto-pause duration
About 1 min- Open the sidebar → Configuration → Agent Configuration → General.
- Scroll to Auto-Pause Duration and drag the slider — from 1 minute up to indefinite.
- Save your change. Each new team reply restarts this duration.
Tips
If you regularly take over conversations for a few minutes, set it to 30-60 minutes. If handoffs are rare but always lead to a full human conversation, bump it to several hours.
Setting this to maximum (indefinite) means the AI stays paused until you manually resume — don't forget to resume, or it stays silent.
