Questions
The honest questions.
Where is ManyChat the stronger choice?
ManyChat is the stronger pick if your growth runs on Instagram comment triggers, keyword triggers and broadcasts, and you want to script each step yourself in a flow builder with 60+ templates. Its list price is much lower: paid plans start at $14 a month billed yearly, and the pricing page puts AI on Pro, from $29 a month billed yearly. Its security page also lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Entagl's list price is higher, and it is built for a different job: an AI receptionist that reads your website, answers by itself and books real calendar slots.
What happens when a customer sends several messages in a row, or the AI gets an answer wrong?
Entagl waits a few seconds (8 by default, and you can change it), groups what the customer sent and answers once. ManyChat's help center lists no setting that groups messages; its Default Reply trigger fires on every message or once every 24 hours. When an answer is wrong, Entagl groups the disliked replies, diagnoses them and proposes a fix that you approve. ManyChat flags missing knowledge in its test Playground, on Instagram, and you add the entry yourself.
Do I have to rebuild my ManyChat flows in Entagl?
No, because Entagl has no flow builder to rebuild them in. Receptionist reads your website (services, prices, hours, FAQs) and can answer the same day; in ManyChat, always-on AI Replies are in beta on Instagram only, and other channels need a flow with a trigger. Later changes go through Entagl's AI Manager, which shows each one as an approval card you can roll back. If you depend on scripted funnels or email drip sequences, know that Entagl does not have them.
How should I compare total cost?
Compare the actual products and usage you need, including AI allowances, extra usage, optional add-ons, and applicable channel or calling charges. A comment-automation add-on and a customer-service messaging plan are different products. On WhatsApp, count Meta's own charge for replies too (after the first 1,000 a month since October 2026): on paid plans Entagl returns that cost as credits.
