Questions

The honest questions.

Where is Tidio the stronger choice?

If what you need is website live chat plus an email help desk, Tidio is the stronger pick, and Entagl's list price is higher. Tidio has a free plan, Starter costs $24.17 a month billed yearly with 10 seats included, Lyro replies in 48 languages, and Tidio holds a SOC 2 Type II report. On the Growth plan your agents can send Shopify product cards and check a customer's cart or order history from the chat. Entagl is built for businesses that sell and book inside WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok DMs, with the AI agent included in every plan.

What changes in a live conversation if I move from Lyro to Entagl?

Tidio's help center says a number used in the WhatsApp app has to be removed from it before you connect, so your team takes over from the Tidio inbox. With Entagl the AI pauses when a person replies, including from the WhatsApp or Instagram app, and comes back by itself after the time you set. Lyro can see three hours back in a customer's history; Entagl keeps one contact record for messages, bookings and orders, and you can merge duplicates. Tidio's forms run in the website widget only, while Entagl asks for the required details in the chat on any channel and will not quote until they are in.

Do I pay for the AI separately, like I do with Lyro?

Not with Entagl. On Tidio's self-serve plans Lyro is an add-on that starts at $32.50 a month billed yearly for 50 AI conversations, and the 50 free conversations each account gets are a one-time quota that never resets. Entagl includes the AI agent in every plan, Free included, and you buy credits with no per-seat or per-resolution fees; Entagl's list price is higher. One more gap in the same area: Tidio's own WhatsApp integration can only reply to incoming messages, while Entagl sends WhatsApp campaigns and reminders whose replies the AI handles.

How should I compare total cost?

Compare the actual products and usage you need, including AI allowances, extra usage, optional add-ons, and applicable channel or calling charges. A comment-automation add-on and a customer-service messaging plan are different products. On WhatsApp, count Meta's own charge for replies too (after the first 1,000 a month since October 2026): on paid plans Entagl returns that cost as credits.
