Comments Agent
Your customer asked in the comments. Start there.
Help respond to supported social comments using the guidance you set. Give public questions the attention they need and use supported next steps where appropriate.
The problem
Your best post can still leave questions unanswered.
A public comment can sit there while customers keep scrolling. Most real questions are written in different ways, and some need a person instead of a made-up answer. The page has to make that difference clear.
It starts with the comment itself
A customer may ask the same thing three different ways, with slang or a half-finished sentence. The agent reads the actual comment and uses the guidance you set to shape the reply.
It follows your business guidance
Public replies can use the same business information you rely on in other conversations, so the answer under the post stays aligned with your guidance.
In the language they used
If a customer writes in Turkish or Arabic, you can respond in that language where supported. The reply should match the language of the comment and the channel rules.

Comments are just the first message.

The agent vs keyword rules alone

Rules are faster and cheaper for what you can predict. The agent covers the rest.
Questions
Before you switch it on
Is this the same as Comments Automation?
No. Comments Agent is the AI comment handling part of your Receptionist setup. Comments Automation is a separate rule-based add-on, and you can use either one on its own or alongside the other if that fits your workflow.
Do I need Comments Automation as well?
Not necessarily. Comments Agent handles supported AI comment replies, while Comments Automation handles fixed rules. They are separate offerings, so the right choice depends on the kind of comments you want to handle.
Can I control what it is allowed to say?
Yes, within the guidance you set. You can define which cases should get a public reply, which ones should be handed to staff, and which ones should stay unanswered until someone reviews them.
What happens with sensitive or unclear comments?
It should not try to improvise a confident answer to a sensitive or unclear comment. Those cases should be left for staff review or handled with the channel-specific next step you have set.
